Rare and large school library dating from 1888. Supporting period documents. This bookcase, which can also be used as a dresser, comes from an old school in Pas de Calais. School that she has never left since its creation. Covered in different shades depending on the era. Its patina suggests pale green, gray, brown and its last shade probably dating from the 60s is white. Magnificent assembly details. This one is made up of a low sideboard topped with a bookcase. Everything is made from solid elm. Very heavy and noble wood. Assembly by period wooden doweling. The high window is made of hand-made glass and important detail, they are also from the period. We can see some defects and air bubbles on the glass.
