Superb set of 2 old dishes villeroy and boch, mettlach model. Stamped, the lot is composed of 1 round dish and 1 oval dish. The lines are very sober and the villeroy and boch quality is immediately visible. The slightly cream colored earthenware is embellished with 2 borders of dark burgundy color. Very refined, these two dishes are in good general condition without crack, shine or sign of restoration. No chipping or ginning. There are traces of light knives in the hollow of the oval dish and a slightly faded shine in the hollow of the round dish. A beautiful set! Round dish height: 2.7 cm. Diameter of the round dish: 31.5 cm. Height of the oval dish: 3.5 cm. Length of the oval dish: 36.5 cm. Width of the oval dish: 24 cm.
