Pendant light "Sofia" by Design Light A/S. Denmark 1970s

A large and heavy multilayered pendant light in classic danish style with matte white powder coating. It consists of seven thick metal discs of various sizes. This is not a thin aluminum type construction but a solid and sturdy shade. The lamp spreads a soft white shine downwards over a table without any glare sideways. Each layer shining down on the next gives a soft and stylish effect to the centre of a room. The light was constructed by the danish light manufacturer design- light a/s. Very good condition with only minimal signs of use. All discs are straight and sturdy. Standard e27 light bulb socket.
