Antique vase in Clichy glass, speckled green with white speckles

This large antique vase is a Clichy glassworks. In jasper glass or marmoreal glass, this technique consists of lining the glass with colored flakes and covering it with a transparent parison. The jasper vases are called "Clichy glassworks", in France they were productions in particular of the glassworks of Clichy, Pantin and Choisy-le-Roi and the best known the Legras Glassworks. England also produced this type of colored glassware. This vase, with a slender shape, is a beautiful green color speckled with white - it has a molded decoration of twisted ribs. In good general condition, it is not signed. This vase measures 29.5 cm in height and 10.5 cm in diameter.
