'le surrepos' by docteur pascaud is a work from the 1920s. Room completely reupholstered. Le corbusier provided the reference for this armchair, designed for therapeutic purposes, to charlotte perriand, so that she could draw inspiration from it for the lc4 chaise longue. Tilting seat with articulated mechanism. Yellow ocher cashmere tapestry. Geometric base in walnut wood. The articulated armrests open butterfly outwards for effortless lifting. The headrest, leg rest and footrest are removable. Original metal authentication plate. Rare piece.
