These beautiful wool carpets are handmade, flatwoven kilims woven in the early 21st century, circa 2010. They are unused and so is in excellent condition. The pair are currently joint together at the fringes as they were woven as a pair, however, they can be separated to make two area rugs, depending on your space and preference. The design features a trio of medallions that run through the centre, woven on a cream background in accents of green and pink. Intricately woven with fine detail throughout. This has then been framed by a repeating pattern tree motif design and a layered blue and red border. The floral and geometric patterns paired with the elegant colour palette make this modern kilim a great accent rug for any home. This area rug was woven with fine, hand-spun wool and cotton that has been dyed with organic dyeing techniques, used for generations. Woven with traditional flatweave techniques that have also been used for centuries.
