Large SNCF Lamp Gillet & Forest 1930

Former sncf gilet & forest lamp. 1930 superb railway lamp from the 1930s. Brand: gillet & forest lamp used by the french railways in the 1930s to illuminate work on the railway tracks. It originally ran on gasoline, but passing trains knocked them over and they were later electrified to avoid fires. This is a very large floor lamp. The glasses (sides + porthole) are present, they are original and show small marks of time, just like the lamp. Everything has been carefully cleaned, but left in its patina, which gives it its charm and guarantees its authenticity. The light reflector at the bottom of the lamp is covered with glass. Equipped with an e27 socket (screw base) and its large philips sl25 bulb (25 watts eco) operation ok. (no switch) dimensions: height: 67 cm (with handle) width: 26 cm. Depth: 28 cm. Weight: 12 kg.
