Sideboard of Blackened Oak Paneling, Regency style – Late 19th century

Long row of blackened oak woodwork with rounded corners. It opens with four doors, two of which are on the sides. Each of them has a molded frame with shell decorations and decorated with spandrels of gilded bronze scrolls. These doors are equipped with functional original locks with chiseled brass pellet entrances accompanied by their keys. Inside, each opening conceals two fixed brick-colored wooden shelves. This sideboard also includes four belt drawers, two of which on the sides open on axis. Again, these drawers lock using genuine functional locks with similar entries. The whole rests on a grooved plinth with slight projections. The wooden top, still with projections, is molded with grooves and bec de corbin. This row of woodwork will fit perfectly into a modern or classic interior. ******** period: late 19th century excellent condition. Waxed finish on hard base.
