Modular wall system by Pierre Guariche for Meurop, 1960

Modular wall system, systeme "boxplan". Design by pierre guariche for meurop in 1966. This 'wall-unit' style system is composed of vertical metal structural elements 180cm high, on which the 60 cm wide bottom panels are fixed. Tablets and boxes in melamine. The two boxes and the 9 shelves can be placed freely. One of the caissons is designed to accommodate a bar. It is not necessary to fix the furniture to the wall. A luminous element accompanies the furniture, it does not appear on the photos of the montage, but is photographed separately. A fluorescent tube was certainly originally installed in this box. It would be easy to replace it with an led strip. Very good general condition!.
