Military chest

Solid pine military chest dating from the last war. This chest was made from what was called a "military canteen" which was used to transport an officer's belongings. Originally it was khaki in color, it was completely sanded, stained and colored varnished oak in the 80s, and the metal parts painted black, casters were placed underneath to make it easy to move. From then on, it served as a storage chest and coffee table, which it does that even though.
