Grandjean-jourdan soap dish or ashtray in vallauris enameled ceramic decorated with a doe silhouette on faux wood. Stamped on the reverse. L. 11.5 cm, w. 9.5 cm, h. 2.5 cm. Typical of the golden age of vallauris, this piece from the 50s will complete a collection or bring a vintage touch to the decoration. An ancestral figure in culinary ceramics, the grandjean-jourdan workshop turned to artistic production in the early 1950s.
