Superb and very rare set of twelve curule savonarola model chairs produced by maison jansen in the 1960s. This set consists of 12 steel chairs decorated with brass touches, with a seat cushion reupholstered in a pale pink velvet fabric from the house of nobilis, with a washed appearance and changing luster. Iconic pieces from maison jansen, in the pure neoclassical style that forged their reputation. These chairs have a rare presence, and will decorate both a traditional and contemporary interior. They are both heavy and robust, but also very elegant and decorative.
