Onyx and metal lamp from the 1950s with its period lampshade

Unusual italian lamp in onyx and metal of the 1950s "onixagata" with its cream-colored lampshade patterned, gold stripes, and six curved faces. The foot, fully removable, is composed of two symmetrical beveled conical futs with in the center a cylindrical belly, placed on a circular base. This elegant structure is enriched with metal ornaments positioned between each onyx element that lighten the whole. Superb veining of the onyx which is also free of any accident except a tiny scale, moreover little visible on the base. The metal parts are also free from any accident. The electrical wiring, the switch and the socket as well as cap for bayonets bulbs are of the period and will eventually deserve a return to current standards (the lamp works perfectly - see photo 2) The height of the lamp, excluding lampshade is 35 cm. The diameter of the onyx base is 10 cm for a thickness of 2 cm. Wiring measures 1m41. The height of the lampshade is 20 cm (diameter of the cervix: 16 cm - diameter of its base: 30 cm) The total weight is 1.5 kg.
