Stella Cecilpila bridge chair from the 1960s

Cecilpila was designed by Stella for the use of local authorities; this one is no exception to the rule and has served faithfully in a commune of herat for many years. Compared to the "civilian" model, the armchairs are devoid of wooden cuffs, it has a sidebar to tie bridges together and "all-terrain" feet that allow for use on grass. Incoming tips have been installed to restore the fluidity of its lines, but the wraparound tips come with the seat.
