Pair of Vintage Bedside Tables in Onyx Black Color

Period: ca. 1930-1970. A pair of bedside tables that would suit many interior styles thanks to their simple elegance and dark onyx color. The tables are not an identical pair but go well together. They both have an extra half shelf built into a high frame that makes them very convenient. Curved feet and scalloped edges give them a classic touch. One of them has a drawer at the front while the other has a small side drawer; the latter also has an openwork pattern of a quadrilobe on the sides. They were painted black and were then covered with a transparent onyx colored paint giving them an iridescent effect.
