Desk or workshop lamp produced by aluminor in the early 1950s. The flexible arm and ball joint allow orientation in all directions. The light fixture is in a very good state of conservation, no deformation, the impeccable flexible hose, no signs of loosening, a few minimal "pinheads" of barely visible lack of paint, see last photos. Flexible length and chrome stem: 44 cm. - 13 inches. Base base width: 10 cm - 3 inches. Base depth: 14 cm - 4 inches. Bottom cover diameter: 20 cm - 6 inches. Hood height: 14 cm - 4 inches. Aluminor was created by andré lavigne in 1950, the aluminor house was intended to manufacture camera shutters in a former olive oil depot in nice. Very quickly, the company was manufacturing lighting fixtures for other companies. She must have taken a liking to it since andré lavigne immediately directed the activity of his company towards the production of lighting fixtures under the name of his brand.
