Description
Dish from the french earthenware maker gien, “ibis bleu” service - also called “carré bleu” - dating from 1875, square and flat in white iron earth with a blue geometric and plant motif which decorates its perimeter and its center. In very good general condition since no chip is noted and only a small crack is present on the back but discreet and which does not weaken the piece, this dish struck on the back is an emblematic model of earthenware. Ideal for joining your kitchen, it will bring a vintage touch to your table decoration. You can also hang it on the wall as a decoration, alone or accompanied by other plates. Decor developed in the gien factory, this pattern draws its inspiration from the royal earthenware of sèvres for its color and the artisanal earthenware of rouen for its hand-painted patterns.
