Description
The armchair type GFM-87 is currently one of the most famous Polish armchairs, a true symbol of the 1960s. It was designed in 1965 by the famous designer Juliusz Kędziorek and produced by the Gościcinska Fabryka Mebli. It has never been mass-produced, hence it is very rarely seen both in salons and for sale. The chair has undergone a thorough renovation. The wood was carefully sanded and again covered with an ecological teak stain with a satin finish. The seat was disassembled to the frame itself and then the structure was reinforced and the cavities were filled. New upholstery strips were added and a new sponge with a high resistance to beating was applied. Finally, the seat was covered with stain resistant, pink fabric.
