Rare modular bookcase by George Nelson system omni. This wall system is the predecessor of the CSS model. This version is the first made by George Nelson in the 1950s. This version is extremely rare on the market. The very contrasting grain of the rosewood wood and its quality is simply superb, something that is not found in the later models that he subsequently made for Herman Miller. This set consists of 4 modular rows (length: 325cm) according to your needs with the possibility of moving the elements or shelves as you wish in height. For smaller spaces, you can simply remove a farmhouse to have only 3 rows (length: 245cm). This bookcase is composed as follows: 4 metal mas of 285cm (recutting if necessary!) 4 storage blocks: a double door block (78/46/35cm), 1 drawer block (78/46/45cm), 1 block with tilting door (78/46/36cm), 1 block with sliding door 78/46/36cm). 6 shelves (31/81cm) The state of conservation is very good given its age. I am posting a large number of photos of all items so that you can judge the good condition of this set. Some defects in certain places but hardly visible: small, almost invisible scratches and 2 or 3 small dents which have been restored. A restoration on a door where the veneer had come off (1cm/2cm) otherwise the rest is in excellent condition. A collector's item published in the USA therefore not found here!!!.
