Large bird balustre vase, glazed terracotta with lid, 62 cm

Large enamelled terracotta balustre vase, decorated red and blue inspired by the "imari" productions. The lid is overhanging a bird. The body features hand-painted plant decorations, including fruits from "lunar" (pope's mint). Small bursts in the enamel very discreet are to be noted. In excellent condition of preservation besides, no cracks. This large piece is 62 cm tall with the lid on.
