This ancient vase from the african bantu terracotta ethnic group is more than 40 years old. The maka are related to the huge population called bantu, designating all groups and social structures practicing one of the four hundred bantu languages, related for their many linguistic similarities. They occupy parts of cameroon, gabon and guinea. The makas are essentially responsible for the production of utilitarian objects, vases and other pottery. The purpose of daily use does not exclude the care given to the decoration, most often consisting of geometric patterns.
