5 Max ROESLER dessert plates Bruyere pattern Plates made between 1894 and 1925 Pierced outline Fine gold edging on the neck of the plates German earthenware Plates Stamped and numbered Perfect condition No cracks or chips In 1890, Max Roesler moved into the porcelain factories Springer in Elbogen in Bohemia. In the fall of 1893 he moved with his family to Rodach near Coburg, where he founded his own fine earthenware factory in the summer of 1894. The family coat of arms, the hedge rose, became the factory's trademark.
