Pair of japanese artisanal art deco style bookends - zoomorphic / in the shape of busts of mares and foals - in fine japanese white porcelain with a cracked effect - finely worked, with a beautiful expression of the faces, very realistic and refined - can be weighted in filling the bottom tank with sand (see last photo) - anti-scratch black felt under the bottom - dimensions/height 16.5 cm. Max width 16 cm. Base 11.5 X 8.5 cm. Total net weight 827 gr. Like new.
