Japanese lacquered red and black box with flower patterns and foliage 1880

Pretty japanese glove box in red and black lacquered wood dating from the late 19th century. It is decorated with delicate golden, black and white flowers and foliage on all its apparent faces. This box is signed "ren shanshan" in chinese script on top.
