Set of 5 chairs René Malaval 1935

Rare! Set of 5 vintage bistro chairs in perforated metal by french designer rené malaval dating from 1935. Reference model in industrial design. Beautiful patina, 2 in red metal and 3 in gray metal, these school chairs were made with the scraps used to make bullet cartridges during the second world war. The two red metal chairs were bought at merci in paris and the 3 gray ones on the selency website in 2017.
