Pair of magnificent old jars

Very heavy 19th century dutch delft or portuguese style. Called earthenware “cooler pots”, pieces painted and fired by hand to withstand bad weather, the majority of the lower part of the pot would have been buried to keep the contents cool. They will add character to your interior or exterior. The 2 pots have sturdy handles, they measure 50 cm high, 30 cm wide and 17 cm deep.
