Theater and cinema seats marked Stella Lyon on cast iron base

Set of 4 stella brand armchairs and 2 folding seats made in france by the stella company (since 1922 in tarn) the manufacture of cinema and performance hall seats began in 1934 for this company which still produces furniture, https: // www.stella-mobilier.fr/histoire the stella lyon brand appears within the cast iron base. These seats come from a former viennese cinema (38200 france) the "pax" after having certainly been used in lyon. Structure and nailing in good condition but upholstery is to be expected. The color of the original blue velvet is still visible on the back of the folding seats.
