Labelled faceted crystal and gilt sconce wall lamp from Kinkeldey, Germany, 1970s

Beautiful hollywood regency style wall lamp / sconce produced by kinkeldey (germany) in the 1970s. Executed to a very high standard. Metal base with 12 thick faceted diamond crystals, which are meticulously cut in such a way that radiates the light in different directions. Requires two e14 bulbs. Measurements: 21 X 21 X 12 cm. Original label still intact. Excellent vintage condition. Kinkeldey is a german manufacturer of high-end lighting fixtures. It attracted international attention when it won the prestigious if design award with a chandelier fitted with prism cut crystals. In the 1970s, kinkeldey produced a number of variations on this award winning model, such as the one offered here.
