Stoneware water butter dish

Water butter dish / breton butter dish / butter bell, to store butter without a fridge: cylindrical format, lower part to fill with water & upper part (space under the lid) to fill with butter; when the pot is closed, the butter is in contact with the water, which prevents oxidation, the butter does not go rancid! All in stoneware with ocher brown glaze, decorated with dot friezes stamped “grès du berry - handmade - made in france” perfect condition!.
