Description
Roussens j. I men's hairdresser in mahogany and mahogany veneer of the louis XVI period. It opens with a flap discovering a mirror on the reverse, a marble top of white veneered gray breccia and three drawers in belt. It rests on four tapered feet with rough flutes ending with clogs with bronze wheels. Golden brass scrapers on each stud. Functional key and locks. (marble formerly restored and restoration of use) Louis XVI era. Stamped roussens j. I. Roussens - carpenter established in toulouse. The father was received master on march 16, 1757 and the son on february 7, 1784. Its stamp has been found both on louis XV seats, even regency, as well as on louis XVI seats, but also on a number of pieces of furniture. Height 73 cm. Width 88.5 cm. Depth 47 cm.
