Vintage French oil painting, signed J. Louvet, 1956

Beautiful and suggestive vintage french oil painting, signed j. Louvet, 1956. It shows a moment in the life of the beautiful french village, noyer sur serein, after the rain (as indicated by a label on the back of the painting. I have found an old postcard in which the same scene appears, I found it interesting to show it) The painting is in very good vintage condition, although it has a small hole in the canvas, easily repairable and not very visible, which I show in detail in a picture. The edges have lost some paint, possibly because it has been framed. The painting measures 85 cm wide, 54 cm high and 2 cm deep.
