Description
Rare and superb pair of large louis XVI style wall lights from the 19th century. Bronze construction. Gilding in very good condition with a superb shine (the gilding has been completely cleaned). The central part is decorated with a fluted barrel with acanthus leaves and topped with a head of bacchus with a crown of vine branches. The light arms are flowering branches. This pair of wall lights comes from a prestigious auction at château de tilloloy (see last photo) in 2017. Probably a unique creation. The carving is very fine, a guarantee of high quality. Electricity installed and tested, new wires. Wooden candles, good condition. Ready to install (for e14 bulb). Please note, the wall lights are not drilled, the entire electrical system can be removed to return to its original state.
