Cassina Viola d'amore leather armchair by Piero de Martini

A viola d'amore in grey-blue leather with black wood elements in very good condition. The leather is flawless with a light patina, the wooden elements show minimal signs of wear. The armchair designed by piero de martini for cassina in the 1970s is based on a tent construction and is unique in its shape. Very comfortable armchair in generous dimensions. Cassina has been known for years for high-quality seating furniture in a unique design. The italian manufacture signed 1964 the exclusive license agreement to edit the furniture designed by le corbusier, pierre jeanneret and charlotte perriand.
