Old large dining room table 300 cm – industrial establishment of the 40s 50s. Impressive dining room table of 3 meters. Larch base from an italian industrial factory workbench from the 40s and 50s. Plaque affixed to the base: fera torino macchina n°265. The top is made of chablis spruce wood with traditional blend by tabs. The tray has been refurbished with new surface finish. Windfall refers to a dead standing tree that dries naturally. It is more solid and has shades of color in the blades, slits and jumped knots. Windfall is a very difficult wood to obtain, we buy it when we are lucky enough to find old stocks, often in barns in the mountains. The windfall on this table was cut in the 70s. Wood species: spruce chablis. Surface treatment: colorless varnish. Top: 107.5 X 296.5 cm. Thickness of the tray: 28 mm. Height: 78 cm.
