Children's armchair in old bent wood

The small armchair is in very good condition, no breakage, no missing items. All assembly hardware is present, nothing is missing. The bent wood does not show any breaks or splinters. The patina is beautiful, the varnish, with its marks of use, however remains in good condition. It is very likely that above the seat, covered with a fine decorative panel with a marbled pinkish beige pattern, is slightly later than the whole, and was added in the 1950s, to "refresh" it. Very pretty construction, stable and solid stool, while remaining very light, which is typical of solid bent wood seats from this period. The stool has been completely waxed with natural beeswax and for maintenance, simply rub it from time to time with a clean cloth. Seat height 30 cm. Width between armrests at the front 29 cm and at the bottom 24 cm. Seat depth 30 cm. French work from the first half of the 20th century.
