Vintage Manade 'Cobra' desk lamp

With its sinuous silhouette reminiscent of a snake, philippe michel's "cobra" lamp appears to move with a life of its own. Designed and manufactured by manade, it embodies the distinctive style of the 1980s. The bulb is cleverly concealed within the articulated arm, resulting in a smooth and flowing design that almost feels organic. The arm's flexibility is achieved through a ringed system, reminiscent of a serpent's body. This version comes in a deep black hue. Originating from 1980s france, the cobra lamp features dual articulation points, providing versatility in use. Its arm bears the manufacturer's stamp. Made of robust black plastic, the arm can detach from the metal base. While showing minor signs of previous use, the lamp is in perfect working condition.
