Handmade Libyan wool rug 270 x 155 cm

A real handmade libyan wool rug. Bought in a souk in the 70s, it was hand-knotted with a mixture of sheep's wool and camel. Manual knotting is easily verifiable by observing the disparity of knots on the back of the carpet. The patterns, ranging from cream to dark brown, on a white background, give it a general rather light appearance. It will blend perfectly into a modern décor and will lighten a room. The fringes have suffered quite a bit, but the general condition of the carpet is rather good, and its appearance always as pleasant. Dimensions: 270 cm X 155 cm. Weight: 12 kg.
