An extendable danish dining table designed by henning kjaernulf for the vejle stole & mobelfabrik manufacture from the 1960s. The table is finished in teak veneer with beautiful graining on the top. It has shapely legs made of solid teak and two extensions that cleverly hide under the countertop, which eliminates the need to organize additional storage space. High-quality workmanship, joints and details emphasize the characteristics of mid-century danish design. The folded table is comfortable for 6 people, but two extensions provide a 240 cm long top that can easily accommodate up to 10 people. The whole thing was after a comprehensive renovation, which included cleaning of old coatings, sanding the surface, filling gaps, light staining to even out the color and protection with hard oil-wax resistant to dirt and water. The condition of this 60-year-old vintage table is excellent. Additional dimensions: frame height from the floor 60.8 cm.
