Travel chest 1900

Blackened wooden chest for travel or expedition, circa 1900. Reinforcement fittings at the corners, leather hinge and folding carrying handles. It is in good condition, clean and healthy, with a remnant of blue wrapping paper in the lid and still its shipping label.
