The lamp was produced in germany by peill & putzler in the 1970s, it is a model marked in the catalog as 71159. The lamp shade is made of crystal, hand-blown glass with white stripes, which is why this model is often called a zebra: ) the base is metal, inside there are two porcelain frames for a large e27 thread. The ceiling gives a lot of light, it will be perfect in the bathroom, vestibule or even in the kitchen on the ceiling. Glashüttenwerk peill und sohn was founded in 1903 in düren, a small town in (west) germany. Peill und sohn merged with putzler in 1947 as a glassworks and lighting company to form peill + putzler glashüttenwerke. The company has many collaborations with well-known designers such as wilhelm wagenfeld, william brown, helmut demary, aloys ferdinand gangkofner and horst tüselmann.
