Old door 49.5 x 26.5 cm

This small solid wood door with veneer on the outside, is originally a bedside door. The latter was irrecoverable, but I could not bring myself to abandon it without trying to save the intact parts, the door, the drawer and the black and white marble plate; ) and here is this little door, it is equipped with a pretty patinated bronze handle in the shape of a hand holding a stick perhaps (which does not seem to me to be original, there are marks on the wood around that suggest that there was another handle at some point in his life). The handle rotates a latch at the back to keep the door closed if it engages in something. There is also at the top and bottom, a fitting with a small round hole (hinges that can be reused according to the use you reserve for this door). It is in good structural condition, still very solid, no hole of tendril, but does not hide its age: some spots, marks and scratches not very visible that make its patina. It is 49.5 cm high, 26.5 cm wide, 1.8 cm thick and weighs 1.5 kg.
