Cubic hat trunk

Magnificent hat trunk from the beginning of the 20th century (circa 1910-1920), covered with brown coated canvas and surrounded by leather borders. This superb cubic box is fitted with an original leather handle. Extremely rare, especially in such a perfect state of conservation, this cubic trunk has a leather trim, as does the beautiful handle on the top. Its fittings, clasps and even corners are made of solid brass. Opening it confirms the first impression and offers a leap into the history of more than a century, to admire work of exceptional quality. No nostalgia (although...), but rather an admiration for a craft which one is tempted to say is art, and an art which transcends time, despite the finality of the object which must have traveled and experienced many vicissitudes.
