Large Danish oak desk

Large danish desk from the 70s in solid blond wood treated with original varnish. Tray colored by the old desk pad which has obviously remained in place for a long time! The varnish makes it soft to the touch and very pleasant to use. On the right is a flat secret drawer whose handle is located just below the offset tray. In this drawer there is removable compartmentalized bakelite storage. Below there are 2 drawers with wooden slides, which makes them very noise-free and easy to use. A third drawer with a key is located above the knees and finally the large-capacity left drawer is used to hang a4 format files. This one is equipped with metal slides to better support the weight of the paper. It comes with its own key. There are therefore 2 different keys for this desk with a shelf niche on the rear facade. It may therefore be appropriate to place the piece of furniture in the middle of a room making it visible from all directions. The base is very stable and no major or minor problems are to be reported. The legs can be disassembled by turning the desk over for easier transport and possible handling on stairs.
