Oval mirror in gilded wood with carved roses

Period: ca. 1930-1960. This elegant oval mirror has a gilded wooden frame. The frame is adorned with a series of beautifully carved roses on the top, bottom and both sides. The inner edge of the frame has a frieze. The glass is in excellent condition and has clearly been replaced recently (judging by the cardboard which has been stapled and is clearly not original) This mirror is probably from the 1st half of the 20th century and the roses have an art deco look. State: Very good. Ice cream in excellent condition. Minor wear marks with underlying plaster visible at the edges and at the top left of the frame (see photos). Dimensions: see photo.
