Vallauris vase in green flamed enamel

What a funny vase! It has a very original shape, with its handle and its “twisted” body which are somewhat reminiscent of a human body. But it was above all the color of the enamelling that caught my attention, brown background, and cream and especially green “drips”, a green passing through light khaki tones almost yellow, light green, bottle green up to green. Fir, a green that is not often found on vallauris ceramics. Green colors are difficult to render in photos; it is the photo on a black background that best reflects reality. It is a ceramic made by a potter from vallauris, probably in the 60s or 70s, as evidenced by the still present label “souvenir of vallauris”. It is in perfect condition, no cracks, no chips, not even a chip. It measures 16.5 cm in height, approximately 10 cm in width (from the handle to the opposite side) and 7 cm in diameter at the opening. In the middle of the vase, there is a constriction, the internal diameter is around 3 cm at this location.
