Ancient Korean chest

Early 20th century korean chest with two doors opening onto a shelfless space. This type of furniture was mainly used to store blankets and sheets. The floor of the traditional korean houses was composed of a wooden floor allowing the movement of the heating system through the "ondol" floor. The furniture was therefore light so as not to weigh on the floor and to be easily transportable in the event of a fire. A second chest of identical dimensions is available.
