Asian salon table in solid mahogany early 20th century

Small table bass in solid mahogany, native to china. Its tray with rims reminiscent of pagoda roofs offers fine decorations of nacres inlays. These represent in the center of the thorny flowers, hatched and in buds. Six more modest rinsings also embellish this top, which shows some traces of seniority due to its century of history. This salon table is belted out with a narrow 4 cm deep drawer with a wood-drawn draw button. The set rests on four slightly skewed feet, embellished on either side of sculpted volutes. They are connected in pairs in width by open and cut panels. This little low table with the look of a bench claims its oriental origin without unnecessary frills. ******** Period: early 20th century.
