Art deco curved wood armchair by Horgen Glarus

Rest armchair, fireplace, designed and manufactured by the Swiss manufacturer Horgen Glarus around 1925. An Art Deco revival of the furniture of the Vienna Secession, a global structure designed by Gustav Siegel in 1908. Very nice and good condition. These armchairs have been recanné in traditional weaving (thread to thread) not with the traditional rattan cane but with a strand designed in Germany 5 years ago. To do this, it is made from dyed cotton, reinforced with a polymer filament that gives it great elasticity.
