Vintage glass ashtray by Murano Sommerso, circa 1950

Prismatic ashtray in murano glass attributed to flavio poli one of the best interpreters of the technique of the "sommerso" (submerged) which consists in superimposing layers of glass by successively passing the object in different crucibles of molten glass, allows subtle combinations of colors. Here three different layers, transparent, orange and red. Pans cut into points, cut into facets. In very nice original condition. Size. Width 7cm. Height 13cm. Depth 7cm.
