Vintage globe terrestrial edition Taride Paris around 1950

An old globe, edition maps taride in paris, scale 1/55000000th. Brushed aluminum stand. Legend cartridge slightly damaged. Period: around 1950 (includes the indian union which existed only between 1947 and 1950) Dimensions: height 35 cm, width 25 cm approximately, diameter base 18 cm. Good condition. The famous publishing house taride was originally located boulevard st-denis and then boulevard st-germain in the 6th arrondissement of paris. She published her first maps in 1895, at a scale of 1: 25, 000, 000, maps of the surroundings of paris in association with the union vélocipédique de france (called "velocipedic maps"). The tarid maps, as well as the globes, will be published until the years 1970-1975.
